The array of fabrics, trims, beads, buttons, ribbons, glitters and all other sorts of craft material is stunning, it's like stepping through a wonderland of colours!
During this 2 hour workshop children will have loads of fun and learn to appreciate the art of recycling. They will learn beading, collage, and how to apply craft techniques to make wonderful creations: a mobile made out of twigs and shells, garden ornaments made out of pebbles and cord, memory boxes & picture frames made out of old shoe boxes, scrapbooks, and so much more (the pictured here show some of the lovely things created by children during Cool Mummy's Arts & Crafts workshop).
The Arts & Crafts theme is discussed with the parents beforehand, and together we decide on a project to be created on the day of the party. This workshop is about enthusiasm, colours and giggles, where the end result is one Arty Party with so many unique and lovely creations.
Before we embark together on a magical creative journey, each child is given their own set of arts and crafts material to work with. Each set contains:
- An artist apron to protect their clothes.
A box of material containing trims, large beads, glitter,coloured papers, glue, ribbons, fabrics, feathers, and loads of crafty bits and bobs. - Tools for cutting, puncturing and gluing.
- Recycled materials such as CDs, shells, twigs , etc.
- Stencils and markers. Mounting board or other material depending on the project.
- A handmade cotton Cool Mummy Party Bag to take home.
